Fall Professional Development Area Conference (PDAC) 2020 has ended

Morgex Insurance has provided Tim Horton’s gift cards for ATA PD leaders who register for PDAC at https://atapd.ca/initiatives/2020-fall-pdac.

These online sessions were conducted on November 28, 2020 by members of the ATA’s Professional Development Program Area (pd@ata.ab.ca). Many of these sessions will be recorded by the ATA Professional Development staff for posting to various online collaboration, social media services, and platforms for use by ATA members and the general public. The recordings will be available on these services and platforms until at least (June 30, 2021). Please note that this session’s recording may be housed on servers outside Canada and beyond the ATA’s control. Your participation in this session is voluntary and indicates your consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information during the session under the provisions of the Personal Information Protection of Alberta (PIPA). The Alberta Assessment Consortium (AAC) is a not-for-profit registered society funded by jurisdictional memberships. We are a recognized educational partner in the province of Alberta. As an independent voice for assessment, we can provide an informed response to questions/issues that impact student learning from multiple perspectives. The following objectives guide the work of AAC:Advocacy for sound classroom assessment practices Contribute to the building of assessment literacy in Alberta Develop a broad range of classroom assessment materials, directly aligned to the Alberta curriculum, that addresses formative and summative processesEnhance teacher/leader assessment capacity by providing opportunities for quality professional learning.
